We are committed to reducing the Group’s GHG emission intensity across all scopes and limiting our environmental impact through sustainable use of raw materials and water resources.

E1 Reduction of the Group’s Scope 1 GHG emission intensity by 8% by 2030 and maximum reduction of Scope 1 emissions by 2050

We intend to reduce the intensity of our Scope 1 GHG emissions by modernising our production lines at our plants to reduce the use of natural gas and by reducing the fossil fuel consumption of the Group’s passenger vehicles. In addition, we are targeting a maximum reduction of Scope 1 emissions by 2050.

E2 Reduction of the Group’s Scope 2 GHG emissions intensity by 50% by 2030

We set ourselves the goal of reducing our Scope 2 emissions by 50% by 2030, which we will achieve by implementing the Group’s energy strategy, including renewable energy sources, as well as improving the energy efficiency of our plants: reducing the intensity of electricity consumption and reducing the demand for heat.

E3 Reduction of the environmental impact

A key element of our ESG strategy is to reduce the environmental impact. We intend to achieve this through, among other things, sustainable use of raw materials and water resources, implementing circular economy solutions, eliminating hazardous substances from the production process through the introduction of modern technologies, as well as steadily increasing environmental pollution control and continuous improvement in the prevention of environmental pollution.

E4 Gradual reduction of the Group’s Scope 3 GHG emissions

In addition to the actions taken at our plants, we will strive to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in our value chain. We intend to achieve the reduction of Scope 3 emissions by: including the carbon footprint of products and services as a parameter in our purchasing processes, introducing intermodal transport in the downstream area and shortening logistics in our plants and in the distribution area. In addition, we intend to support the development of low-emission mobility by providing products for modern low-emission vehicles to the market.
