On September 12, 2024, in Ustroń, in the building of the Educational, Rehabilitation and Upbringing Centre, a meeting of the Bielsko-Biala Lodge of the Business Centre Club (BCC) was held, which was devoted to the role of philanthropy in business. The meeting was organized by the Chancellor of the Bielsko-Biala Lodge of the BCC – Janusz Szymura and the President of Mangata Holding – Leszek Jurasz.

The agenda included, among others:

• A short presentation on philanthropy, referring to the Report of the Polish Business Council and the EFC Foundation of 2021, entitled “Philanthropy in Poland. How entrepreneurs and their families get involved”.
• An overview of projects implemented by the association thanks to cooperation with entrepreneurs.
• An opportunity to learn about the activities of the Mountain Volunteer Search and Rescue (GOPR), which presented its initiatives and the specificity of its activities, showing how their work supports safety in the mountains and cooperation with local businesses.

The meeting was also an opportunity to get acquainted with the infrastructure of the Centre.
